Minankari is a direction of jewelry art that originated in Iran, spread to Byzantium and from there came to Georgia, where minankari is called silver jewelry with cloisonné colored enamel. The earliest artifacts of minankari date back to the VIII-IX centuries AD. Nowadays, Georgian minankari products, the so-called “Georgian enamel”, are known and appreciated all over the world for their colorfulness, elegance, meaningfulness and durability.

SKAZKA brand was registered in Kazakhstan in 2018. Work on minankari products is carried out jointly - design, engineering and color solutions are prepared in Kazakhstan (Almaty), and the embodiment of the sketch into a finished product takes place in Georgia (Tbilisi) by the hands of Georgian jewelers. Thanks to such joint creativity design ideas are realized in the spirit of cultural peculiarities of both countries with careful preservation and observance of all technological subtleties and secrets of this ancient craft. The creative union of Kazakhstani designers and Georgian jewelers “Skazka” gives life to really fabulous jewelry, which will always be special among other jewelry of its owners and will be loved by them.
Minankari is a combination of enamel containing colored vitreous powder and the finest gold or silver partitions fixed in a plot pattern on a silver base, which has undergone high-temperature treatment.
Minankari enamel is used only when paired with noble metals (gold and silver), as other metals can change the color of the enamel over time and destroy it. Minankari jewelry is durable, and the enamel does not tarnish over the years.
