Miniature painting is a special type of fine art. Since ancient times, miniature art has been considered in the East to be a part of handwritten books and manuscripts, illustrating texts. Small bright colorful pictures covered with varnish decorated the interiors of palaces and rich houses.

Painter Temirov Feruz Umedovich was born into a family of teachers of history, literature and music.
He received education in the field of fine arts at the Bukhara State University. Studied the art of miniature and related areas of history and literature. He studied the works of such great poets and historians as Ferdowsi, Omar Khayyam, Nizami, A. Navoi and Sh.A. Yazdi, as well as the works of artists K.A. Behzad, M. Muzahhib.
He taught miniature painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Bukhara State University.
Currently, master of miniature, engraving, watercolor and oil painting Temirov Feruz creates his paintings in the style of medieval literary miniature of characters from the plays of Alisher Navoi, Nizami Ganjavi, Saadi Shiraze and Maulana Jami. The artist works with compositions on the themes of images of the Great Silk Road (caravan), on the motives of works about famous scientists and travelers, images of the Tree of Life, lovers, hunting, playing polo and others.
Master Temirov Feruz represented Uzbek miniature painting at international exhibitions in Russia, France and Austria.

The painter strives through his works to bring the images of bygone days to the days of today, to leave their trace in the days of the future.
