PORTRAIT and STILL LIFE
Portrait is a representation of a person or a group of people. Portrait painting most often requires an emphasis on the character's gaze, in which the person looking at the picture is always looking for sincerity and feelings, character and meaning, without which the portrait becomes empty and impersonal. Portrait is always the story of a person, captured by the master in one moment of the image of the hero of the picture, but filled with a whole palette of feelings and events.
Still life is a picture of a composition of one or several objects. Still life is able to enrich the space with the elegance and appeal of floral subjects, to add coziness and warmth to the interior, the illusion of fragrance and “deliciousness” of the treat, cordiality and hospitality of the owners of the house, or vice versa, strict order, which is always obedient to light and form, size and vector, today and tomorrow.

Narrative on behalf of the author: “My name is Irina, I was born on November 9, 2000, in the city of Almaty. My creative path began in childhood. Even then I drew colorful pictures and through them I expressed my worldview, at that time it was the images of flower fairies, animals, nature, fairy spaces among the stars, where there are creatures with superpowers. Despite the fact that I did not have the opportunity to attend art school, I continued to draw and develop in this direction. At school age, I began to learn how to realistically depict the objects around me, I put still lifes from what came to hand and learned to convey volume. School teachers paid attention to my drawing abilities and supported me in my endeavors. I participated in various competitions and took first places.
I have not received professional art education, but by devoting a lot of time to drawing, communicating with different artists-mentors, I honed my skills in painting. In the near future I plan to enter an art university and continue to raise my level of skill in painting, to master new directions. Now I write oil paintings. This material immediately appealed to me with its durability and the ability to mix a variety of shades from a small number of colors. Basically I like to write portraits of beauties in national costumes, to write out ornaments, which bear their sacral meaning, their history, created by masters of the past and present. I am also very close to the floral theme, because flowers give an amazing variety of shapes and shades that simply mesmerize with their complexity and beauty. I am mastering the landscape, and periodically go to the plein air (writing paintings from life). Now I try to find my style, to understand what I really like in painting, I study the works of other artists and hone my handwriting, try, experiment and find new unusual solutions. Painting for me is a connection with the world, with the cosmos, with God, painting is something that comes from the heart and that's why I put a part of my soul and love into each of my works”.
The master, in every subject of his paintings praising beauty, sensuality and tenderness, comes to this world to make it better, to show that the world is filled with love, you just need to see it.
